Suicide First Aid - Lite
This learning is for anyone seeking understanding and confidence to support those at possible risk of suicide.
The course gives learners the knowledge and tools to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable causes of death. It provides participants with basic skills to recognise and help someone with thoughts of suicide to stay safe.

The SFA LITE curriculum includes;

Recognising early warning signs of suicide.

Initiating a supportive conversation.

Encouraging access to professional support or self-help strategies.

Escalating the situation to emergency services if necessary.
The SFA Lite program provides foundational understanding, awareness & skills building.

SFA LITE is certified by the National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education and Training (NCSPET, UK).
After certification, you will be registered as a Suicide First Aider on their database, as well as the We CAN network.
